One pound a week fund
Apound spent with FKC can feed a child for 3 days - or 2 pounds for the best part of a week - and it keeps a child from dying, it gives a child who has nothing, a fighting chance.
You can pay a year's donation using our donation button which will take you through to PayPal.
Our "Pound a week" members also receive regular newsletters, packed with stories of how our work is progressing and how your money is being spent.
There are moments in the development of a vision when a step has to be taken without immediate guarantee of funding. One such moment occurred in February 2010 when it was decided to appoint fully qualified teachers to the school in Eldoret. The appointment of qualified teachers was a necessary first step in gaining full Government recognition for the school, which will in due course enable reasonable fees to be charged for those children whose families can afford it, leading to eventual self sufficiency for the school.
In the meantime, the teachers need a proper salary paid promptly each month and for this FKC is seeking to establish a secure revenue stream. If 36 individuals, groups or organisations can be found who will promise to provide £25 per month for a maximum of three years – but any length of time will help – then the problem will be solved. Donations for Project 36 can be for any period, not necessarily a monthly amount, providing the total received equates to £25 a month. Help towards this goal will be very much appreciated and can either be paid through the web site – donate button – or a standing order made direct to FKC’s account. (Contact us by email for this option)
Any amount you can spare is gratefully received. We are a completely voluntary group and ALL of your money will go straight to where it is needed in Kenya.
Thank You !
