The school in Eldoret

n December 2008 we reported that two dormitories had been built and would soon be ready to receive boarders at the school. A whole year later, the new dormitories are just now coming into use. Delays in equipping the dormitories occurred, and the rules concerning the provision of residential care for children changed and became more complex – but now all the obstacles have been overcome and destitute children are coming to the school for education and care. he orphanage in Lodwar The Lodwar children’s story has taken many twists and turns since the charity began. The original plan was to move the 50 orphans from the facility in Lodwar to the school in Eldoret as boarders, with a view to giving them a much more hopeful future than was possible in their barren northern desert homeland.
