FKC - our Logo

A
logo is a visual identity of any brand and as such we wanted ours to show what we represent. The logo you see now is a merging of two key themes. The first, in a bright orange sun colour representing the colour of the earth in the area as well as the heat of the sun, features the people we are helping. It does not speak of uniformity, all those we help are different, neither is it a production line of help. It simply represents our hope to help many people find their way out of poverty without exclusion.

T
he second theme is an arrow-based path, which implies people striving to reach a goal of independence and break out of the dreadful, consuming poverty.
The arrow suggests escape from the circle of poverty, it does not necessarily suggest breaking out of their location, although this may happen in some cases.

F
inally we needed a tagline. Our hope is summed up by our wish to get 'our' children
"out of poverty"
by equipping them to deal with all that life throws at them hence the
"through education".
Something we all take for granted.
